This gem of a shirt was given to me by my Aunt Annie after she cleaned out her closet (Thanks Annie!). As you may have noticed I am a big fan of long, flow-y shirts and this one fits the bill perfectly. The light, sweetly checkered fabric remains comfortable even in 90 degree weather and the carved wooden buttons allow me to incorporate darker hues of brown into the ensemble. This includes a favorite vintage scarf of my mothers and my newly acquired Steve Madden T-strap sandals; they have a small wedge, dark metallic sheen, and are the perfect summer sandal that can easily shift from a day at the beach to an evening out.
Outfit Details: Head Scarf:Vintage. Button Up: FLAX via Aunt Annie. Leggings: Express. T-Strap Sandals: Steve Madden.

Thanks so much for your comment!

I'm so jelly of how warm it clearly looks in your pictures. You're gonna freezing when you come visit haha. I can't even explain to people how crazy the weather is in New England because A.) They usually don't believe me....literally and B.) I'm terrible at converting to Celsius (1.0 to 1.8...??? I was never that good at math anyways).
ReplyDeleteLove your new sandals girl! Super cute. Steve Madden has some great summer platforms that I'd really like to hit but there isn't a steve madden here :(. Great post lady!
Love the style of your photos! Sweet blog!
