Merry Merry Take A Cherry

The cherry, apple, and plum trees in my back yard are almost in full blossom, a few more sunny days and the trees will be a cloud of white.  Together with the budding lilacs the air is filled with the sweet scent of flowers and Spring.   I can't tell you how much I am going to miss the change of seasons, I feel like my life cycles with them- every season is a chance for renewal.  It's generally the time when I make my life changing decisions... I wonder how I will adjust to life without this natural guide...

I must confess the main point of this outfit was to create something that I could wear with the bowler cap.  I've been itching to wear this hat again, but it hasn't felt right with any of my choices of late.  So instead of forcing it on a pre-determined ensemble as an accessory I decided to coordinate the outfit with the hat as its mainstay.

I hope this beautiful weather sticks around for the weekend; I have a mini roadtrip and some gallery hopping planned (along with work), which would be made so much better with some sunshine!  Hope you all have a great weekend!
